Enugu Senators Oppose Each other over bill.

The controversial bill seeking to repeal the Quarantine Act 2004 sponsored by the House of Representatives surfaced at the Senate on Tuesday under a different title which read “National Health Emergency Bill , 2020”.
The bill was introduced during Tuesday’s plenary and sponsored by Senator Chukwuka Utazi ( PDP Enugu North). However , the bill was vehemently opposed by fellow Enugu PDP Senator , Ike Ekweremadu (Enugu West)
Ekweremadu demanded for the draft copy of the bill , which made the Senate President, to order for distribution of copies to all Senators and ruled that the second reading would be taken next week Tuesday .
