A member of the Borno State House of Assembly, Umar Audi, has died. The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained.
Audi is reported to have passed away on Tuesday evening, May 5 at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, The cable reports
It was gathered that the lawmaker was initially rejected because of lack of bed space as the only available bed space was for childbirth emergency cases. He was later admitted after persuasion from a member of his family, The Legit reports
It was also learnt that his sample have been collected for testing by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to confirm the true cause of his death.
Until his death, Umar was the lawmaker representing Bayo Constituency at the State House of Assembly
