Lagos commissioner for Agriculture appointed the Oniru of Iruland

The commissioner for Agriculture, Prince Gbolahan Lawal’s appointment as the Oniru-elect of Iruland has been approved by the Lagos State Government.

Prince Lawal, will succeed the former Oniru of Iruland, the late Oba Abiodun Idowu Oniru, who passed on after a brief illness on September 23, 2019 at the age of 82.

Lawal born on July 24, 1970, to late Chief T. A. Lawal-Akapo, the Ojora of Lagos from 1977 to 1993, and Olori M. A. Lawal-Akapo,  hails from the Ojora, Aromire, Shokun and Abisogun branch of Oniru Royal families of Lagos State. He was also a former aide-de-camp to the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
