900 repentant Boko Haram members has been registered by the the National Identity Management Commission on Monday, the organization said.
The Director-General, NIMC, Aliyu Aziz, in a statement issued by the commission in Abuja said, “The commission has the capacity to support the Federal Government in the ongoing war against security challenges through its functional and world-class verification and authentication services residual in its modern and up-to-date database.”
The organization in its support to the federal government, provides a credible platform to enroll and issued National Identification Number to repentant and reintegrated Boko Haram members, as well as verify their data as and when needed. Making them part of the society, and another chance to be better citizens of Nigeria
