Two men have been arrested by the operatives of SARS and Police on Friday, August 29 for allegedly raping a 15-year-old orphan in Delta State.

The men simply identified as Solomon and Okpolor were apprehended following a tip-off from an informant who approached Executive Director of Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation, Harrison Gwamnishu who then involved the police.

It was gathered that the victim, an orphan who lives with her uncle, has been molested severally by her guardian and turned into a sex slave.

The source stated;

Her uncle whom she lives with, has been molesting her since she was 10 and gave her as unofficial wife to an old bikeman whom she now lives with and performs sexual duties of a wife to.

Solomon and Okpolor, who are her neighbors took turns to defile her on August 14, 2020, with three other men in the former’s house and was given N50 to keep mute.

The victim told a friend of her ordeal and that’s how Advocate Harrison got involved.

Although three of the suspects are still at large, DPO Abraka Division, Mr. Hassan, said investigations were ongoing and they would be brought to book.
