Natives of Abia Central Senatorial zone today expressed happiness and hope following the inauguration of OUK movement in the six constituent local government areas of the zone by the D.G of the movement Rev. Ola Jemaimah. The event which featured the appointment of LGA coordinators and secretaries of the movement in the local government areas of the Senatorial zone had in attendance vibrant men and women from the zone, the D.G of OUK movement Rev. Ola Jemaimah, Media aide s/e to the distinguished Senator representing Abia North Senatorial zone at the Senate Hon. Maduka Okoro and state executive members of the movement.
Speaking at the event, Rev. Ola Jemaimah admonished the newly inaugurated members of the movement in the Senatorial zone to always work towards the welfare of humanity and love for all mankind as that is what the movement stands for. She encouraged them to preach the gospel of the movement to the nook and crannies of the zone, noting that God had ordained the establishment of the movement for the purpose of taking Abia State, Nigeria and the world at large to greater heights. While revealing that the movement is anchored on the leadership views of the senator representing Abia North Senatorial zone at the Senate His Excellency Dr Orji Uzor kalu, Rev. Jemaimah noted that the movement is and will remain unstoppable and unconquerable because it is ordained and driven by God. She further assured them of the commitment of Dr. Orji Uzor kalu to the wellbeing of Abians and Nigerians at large, and thanked them for choosing light over darkness.
Hon. Maduka Okoro who also spoke at the event assured the crowd who were present that Senator Orji Uzor kalu will continue to make them proud through sustainable democratic dividents and people Oriented policies. He asked them to always put their hopes in God, noting that it is by divine direction that Senator Orji kalu has been able to and will continue to put smiles on people’s faces.
Responding, Mr. Ugbaja Clement, a native of Abia Central Senatorial zone and one of the newly inaugurated executives of the movement at the LGA level expressed joy that the Senatorial zone has finally become part of a movement that will rescue Abia from governmental wickedness and developmental backwardness, and help reposition Nigeria for a brighter tomorrow. He gave the assurance that all natives of Abia Central are eager to be part of the movement noting that they have been hopeless for so long. He described the inauguration of the OUK movement in Abia Central as the beginning of the era of hope, and genesis of the end of the zone’s days of Ichabod.
The event came to an end following great merriment during which the crowd that attended the event were served food and drinks.
