Barely two days after giving out cows to communities,Former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on year’s say distributed bags of rice , cash gifts and other staple food items to villages in IGBERE to celebrate the new year.
The distribution which held on new year’s day January 1st at Camp Neya, Country home of the former Governor was monitored by the Manager of Camp Neya, Mrs Goodness Orji
Each village was represented by the youths of the villages which includes :
Amorji ,Ohumola , Ibinanta, Ibina Ikwu, Umunsisi,Okafia
and Amiyi autonomous communities.
On behalf of the communities , Mr. Obike Orji expressed his gratitude to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu for his benevolence to the villages which he described as magnanimous.
