The Aba north & south federal constituency bye election scheduled for this Saturday, March 27 will likely go to APC as PDP Abia state looks unprepared. Despite the assurances by Gov Okezie Ikpeazu to Abia state PDP, it is only APC that’s moving to all the communities within the constituency meeting the voters and soliciting for their votes.
While APC is busy campaigning, it is gathered that the PDP governor is shying away from leading the party’s campaign to the villages because he has no project to showcase in those villages within the constituency.
A source told APGA Interactive Forum (AIF) Media that PDP is planning on hijacking the electoral process. According to the source, “PDP is already jittery. They are planning to rig this election. They are boasting that they have electoral commission and that most of the officers who will conduct the election are loyal to them.”
He however went on to state that, “APC has a very strong leaders in the state. They won’t allow any form of rigging. ”
Senate Orji Kalu is leading a strong campaign, touring all parts of the constituency.
