Easter:”Don’t lose Hope”Dr,Chidia implores Abians,Nigerians

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Film Corporation,Dr. Chidia Maduekwe has implored Abians and Nigerians not to be dismayed as a result of the prevailing situation in the state and the security situation in the country as a whole.

Dr. Chidia in his Easter message said that the resurrection of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion is an assurance that every challenge shall be overcome.

In a statement from his Abia Home State, the NFC boss felicitated with Christians in Abia and Nigeria on this remarkable day, urging them to keep faith with love, tolerance and unity.

“As we commemorate his rising from the death, let us use this season to promote oneness and unity that we have always desired as good people of this great nation Nigeria”

“Easter marks the resurrection day, despite all the sufferings that our Lord Jesus Christ passed through and his death, he arose again and his glory shone all over the earth. This means that as a nation we have made remarkable progress but we are still facing some challenges,the message of Easter implies that we shall surmount these challenges.

“Easter assures us of life of eternity, the season of Easter teaches us to be courageous, united, tolerant,love one another which we all need to progress as a Nation.

“As we mark this day ,I implore us all to examine our lives and imbibe the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, most especially on the conduct towards one another.

Chidia rallied Nigerians not to relent in taking the COVID 19 rules and regulations, stating that the pandemic is still very much on.

He advised that celebration should be with caution urging that people wear a face mask and observe social and physical distancing even if they had been vaccinated.

“Be mindful of others while you celebrate with the laid down rules and regulations of the coronavirus pandemic.

“It is my aspiration that Nigerians don’t lose hope, particularly Abians and that we all live peaceably as we have been instructed by Christ Jesus, through the love and mercy that we have so freely received.’
