Former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr. Orji Kalu has congratulated the founder of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary.
Describing the celebrant as an age-long friend, Kalu acknowledged the contributions of Dangote to the social and economic development of Nigeria and Africa at large.
While commending the entrepreneurship efforts of Dangote, Kalu stressed that the business mogul, through hardwork, perseverance and consistency, grew his business entity from a commodity trading company to a multi-billionaire dollar conglomerate.
The businessman-cum politician said, “I am delighted to convey my warm greetings to the founder of Dangote Group of Companies and Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) as he clocks 64.
“The celebrant is a household name beyond the shores of Africa, in view of his outstanding and robust contributions to sustainable development in Africa and beyond.
” His business empire is one of the largest employers of labour in Africa.
“As the promoter of ADF, Dangote has touched lives positively across the world through various initiatives: health, education, women and youth empowerment.
“The celebrant deserves to be celebrated today and always as a successful business mogul and philanthropist of repute”.
Kalu while praying to God to grant the celebrant longer life, urged Dangote to sustain his good works in all endeavours.
