Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB have held a protest at the British Embassy in Ireland.
The group called for the release of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
This comes after Kanu was arrested in Kenya and extradited to Nigeria last month.
He was later arraigned before a court in Abuja which ordered that he be remanded in DSS custody.
During the protest, the members submitted a petition against the Nigerian Government describing Kanu’s arrest as illegal.
They accused the government of kidnapping Kanu and forcing him back to the country.
Kanu is facing serious charges of treasonable felony, illegal firearms possession and terrorism.
