An 18-seater commercial bus crashed yesterday in Kwara, killing 10 passengers, as Muslim faithful celebrated Eid el-Kabir.
The accident happened around Iyemoja in the Olooru-Okolowo area of Ilorin-Jebba Expressway in Moro local government area.
Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) blamed it on reckless driving.
Sector Commander of the Corps Jonathan Owoade said other victims of the crash suffered various degrees of fracture.

He gave the registration number of the commercial vehicle as LND 742XK, saying that the rescue team took the injured persons to Ayo Hospital, Okolowo and the state General Hospital, Ilorin for medical attention.
The FRSC boss also said that the bodies were deposited at the morgue of General Hospital, Ilorin.
He commended the police for their effort at the incident scene.
He also cautioned drivers against speeding, urging them to obey traffic regulations and be mindful of other road users.
