Senator Rochas Okorocha has polled zero vote at the presidential primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday.
Over 2,000 accredited delegates voted at the polls to decide the ruling party’s ticket bearer for the 2023 general election.
Mr Okorocha was on the ballot despite having a running battle with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over fraud.
The former Imo governors had no control over delegates from his home state and the Electoral Act 2022 did not provide voting rights for aspirants at party primaries.
Mr Okorocha becomes the second aspirant to score zero vote at the primaries. Tunde Bakare of the Citadel church also polled zero vote.
