Chikwe Udensi is a werewolf, a charlatan and a clannish politician by every standard and with such character as a Governor, Abia would be worst than its present state and the effort to redeem it will be an abortion of hope.
*During Consultation:*
My first encounter with him was at his house in Asokoro Abuja where he invited me. I flew from Owerri to Abuja. I told him my intention to run for the state Assembly and he said, ” you know Abam has had a considerable share of that office and Ihechiowa, Isu , Ututu needs to be accommodated as the incumbent is from Arochukwu”. I reasoned with him believing he is a man of his words unknowing to me, he was planning to impose his boy (IGNES) who is from the same village with him. How can you want to be a Governor and also want your boy from the same village to be the House of Assembly member in a local government of about 5 clans? I guess that’s a show of political illiteracy.
*My Nomination Form:*
Few days after our discussion, he went to the APGA National office to purchase the nomination form for his boy and for himself. At this point, I was wondering why he did not bring anyone from ihechiowa, Isu or Ututu as he had preached and I concluded he has decided to allow Fairplay but unknowing to me, Chikwe is more interested in the House of Assembly seat than the Governorship race.
*Denial of Nomination Form:*
Fast forward to the day I went to Abuja to get my nomination form, Udensi called the National Vice Chairman of the party with the instruction that I should not be allowed to get the party nomination form. With the efforts of men and women of good conscience who abhors Injustice in the party, I was issued the nomination form.
Signing my nomination was heculean as Udensi instructed the local government Party Chairman not to mobilize people that will sign it. It took the intervention of the State Executives and my personal efforts before my nomination form was eventually signed.
*Malicious Disqualification:*
The Screening exercise for the State Assembly Primary election was chaired by Steve Nworga. I went for the screening and answered every questions without a problem unknowing to me that Chikwe had paid the National Vice chairman who prevailed on members of the screening committee to disqualify me on the basis that I’m not a party member. Meanwhile, I had my membership card and my name is in the party register of my ward. Even Udensi called me on the phone to inform me that the party card I have is fake and some people produce party cards to make money. He advised me to accept the judgment of the screening committee and see him later. I went ahead to appeal their decision and eventually I was cleared to contest for the party primary election.
*Bribe to Stop me:*
Primary election took place on the 24th of May 2022 at the designated venue in Ozu Abam central school both INEC and Security Agencies were at the venue of the said election, yet Chikwe’s boy did not participate in the primaries on his master’s instruction. Meanwhile, the next morning Udensi went to meet with Godwin Odu ,the party electoral committee chairman in his hotel room in Umuahia where he paid him to use a ballot paper meant for umunneochi where election did not take place and write a new result outside what the party had submitted to the INEC. This was the information that mislead the National Chairman to issue a Certificate of Return to IGNES instead of me.
My second encounter with Chikwe was after the Primaries and he instructed Okey Udenyi to invite me and I consulted widely before going to his house. When I got there, I saw Nwaka Otti right in my presence, Udensi stressed the need for his boy to step down as it does not portray good to his image knowing that the public will frown at the fact that his boy (IGNES) and himself are from the same village.
*My Denial of COR:*
While trying to cajole me, the cunning Udensi had paid the National Vice Chairman who traveled to Abuja to remove my name from the final list and replaced it with his boy (IGNES). Immediately I saw the final list and my name was omitted, I flew to Abuja to see the National Chairman and that day was the day Udensi’s boy was issued the Certificate of Return. I presented my result and the National chairman asked me where I got it from? In his humility and kindness, he brought out the results from Abia state and I observed they changed Arochukwu result from the ballot papers used in the primary election to the result sheets. Many prominent party men and women including candidates made a strong case for me but the evidence before the National chairman was overwhelming.
At some point, the National chairman requested the presence of Godwin Udo and in his wisdom , he asked him why he signed two results? He could not give an answer. At this point, the National chairman said he will revisit the issue if I can bring any document that proves otherwise. Immediately, I went to INEC to request for a Certified True Copy (CTC) of their report on APGA state assembly primary election in Abia state.
Fortunately, it was granted and I took it to the National chairman and at that point, other members of the National working committee were there and they looked at the documents and made a few phone calls to confirm from the returning officer who conducted the Primaries the true winner of the said election. This was how the National chairman disassociated himself from this evil and injustice against my person and did the needful by recognizing me as the duly elected candidate for the Arochukwu State Constituency. Hence, a Certificate of Return was issued to me.
*Inconsequential Court Suit:*
Chikwe and his cahoots secretly filed a suit against me to get judgment without my consent even as I speak I have not been served by the court. I was told they have served the party and INEC . What is their case? That his boy was wrongly issued a Certificate of Return before me. Something they know was pure falsification, willful misrepresentation and a calculated attempt to smear INEC and the Party. Removing my name from the list was knavish, mischievous, roguish, waggish, rascally and impertinent. This is the character that want to be Abia Governor. I’m very ashamed of this man.
*Futile Hunting for Witnesses:*
Chief Udensi is now shopping for witnesses. Why is he inviting the returning officer who conducted the State Assembly primaries and offering him a car and cash to testify in his favor when the said election was covered by the press with a duly certified written report that indicated his boy boycotted the said primary election. Does his boy has the locus standi to file a suit when he clearly did not participate in the primary election going by the provisions of the electoral act?
This testimony is to put the general public on red alert about the deviant parading himself as a kingmaker in APGA, Udensi is a party terrorist who has lost the peoples confidence due to his dubious dispositions. He is bent on destroying ABIA APGA by perpetuating evil upon evil, He is embittered, restless and desperate too.
