Supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinuubu and his deputy Kashim Shettima, have assured that nobody has the right to stop their candidate from campaigning in the South East ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Convener of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Group, in Enugu State, Dr Ben Nwoye disclosed this yesterday shortly after donating a building for the campaign organisation of the presidential candidate of the party.
Nwoye noted that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has achieved so many things despite the challenges of insecurity.
He said it was tha admnistration of President Buhari that increased the minimum wage and the allowances for the members of the National Youth Service Corps(NYSC).
Nwoye further noted that the president under the APC embarked on tremendous infrastructural development in the country, especially in the Southeast.
“There is need for continuity and eventhough there is difficulty of security, it should not undermine the achievement of the APC led government. It was the APC under Buhari that introduced the primary school feeding project,” he stated.
Nwoye promised that they will reach out to all the aggrieved members of the party as parts of it’s efforts to deliver the APC in 2023.
He disclosed that all stakeholders have agreed to work for Tinubu come 2023, adding that nobody will stop the presidential moving train of APC.
“We want to ensure that Tinubu/Shettima get enough votes in the South East. We will make sure that people, I advise supporters of others parties that are saying that APC will not campaign in Southeast to bury the idea, we have thousands of supporters that will work for APC.” He stated.
