Senegal thrashed Burkina Faso 3-1 on Wednesday to reach the finals of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon.
This is the second time the Teranga Lions are reaching the final in a row as they have not won AFCON trophy before.
They were in the final in 2019 when they lost 0-1 to Algeria.
After a goalless first half filled with drama, Abdou Diallo opened scoring for Senegal on 70 minutes, firing a rebound into the bottom left corner after the ball broke to him in the box.
Six minutes later, Sadio Mane displayed great vision and sent a pass to Idrissa Gueye, who showed brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball into the back of the net, to make it 2-0.
Burkina Faso pulled one back on 82 minutes.
Issa Kabore played in Ibrahim Blati Toure, who showed great determination to get to the ball before a couple of defenders. He shot from inside the box into the right side of the net.
Mane then capped a brilliant performance with a superb finish on 87 minutes to take his country to AFCON final.
Mane collected a pass and from inside the box he lifted the ball over Farid Ouedraogo, who was off his line for a great finish.
