Hon. Olugbenga Omole, a member of the Ondo State House of Assembly escaped an alleged assassination attempt.
It was gathered that unknown gunmen attacked the lawmaker, who is representing Akoko Southwest Constituency 1, on Thursday night March 31, in Akure, the state capital.
The lawmaker who confirmed the incident to journalists in Akure, said the gunmen fired multiple shots at his car.
