Isikwuato Solidarity Assembly, a think tank group, has described all the years that the member representing Isikwuato Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha spent at the green chamber of the national assembly as a complete disaster.
The group accused the lawmaker of poor representation and shortchanging Isikwuato Local Government Area.
The group in a statement signed by Chief Ikwuagwu Stanley, President; Angela Kelechi, Secretary, and made available to newsmen on Friday vowed not to reelect her in 2023.
“Isikwuato Solidarity Assembly is totally embarrassed to have Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as our representative at the National Assembly. Her time at the National Assembly is nothing but a disaster that should not be reinforced in 2023. No sensible Isikwuato son or daughter should be part of the Nkeiruka Onyejeocha project in 2023 because she has shortchanged our people for too long.
“2023 is the turn of Isikwuato Local Government Area to represent the Federal Constituency. We are not slaves to Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, who has spent the last 16 Years doing nothing for our people. It is time to reclaim what is due for Isikwuato Local Government Area. We have our people stationed across all the wards in Isikwuato to ensure that this disaster is not reinforced.
“Nkeiruka Onyejeocha should stop tricking our people that she would be Speaker in 2023. Hausa/Fulani would never allow her be Speaker even though she won’t be reelected. She has done nothing for our people compare to other APC lawmakers in Abia North Senatorial District. We are giving her the opportunity of saving herself the embarrassment awaiting her at the poll by withdrawing from the 2023 general election,” the group said.
