Enugu State Government has given the nod for all schools in the state to reopen.
The Commissioner for Education, Prof. Uche Eze made this known in a statement.
Recall that schools in the state have been shut since March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Eze, all state and private tertiary institutions in Enugu should be reopened starting October 12, 2020.
The Commissioner also directs the management of each of the institutions to announce specific date of resumption of academic activities “when the approved guidelines for COVID-19 have been met”.
“The State Ministry of Education has set up a monitoring team to ensure that every institution abides by the approved guidelines for safe operations in our schools,”the statement read.
