The Federal Government evacuated 256 Nigerians from Dubai amid the Coronavirus pandemic. The returnees arrived in Lagos on May 6 and have been observing the 14 days mandatory quarantine in hotels at Lekki and Ikeja
Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has announced on Sunday that three Nigerians out of the Dubai returnees has tested positive for COVID 19 and have been admitted for appropriate treatment at the state’s COVID 19 care center.
Abayomi also encouraged Lagosians to continue to cooperate with response teams and take precautionary steps to curb the spread of COVID 19.
“I again urge Lagos residents and particularly, those who recently returned to the country to cooperate with our #COVID-19 response teams as may be desirable at all times and in all circumstances,”
