We are working with the FBI to trace victims of Hushpuppi’s scam-EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission states that it is working closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation to find those allegedly defrauded by Ramoni Igbalode, aka Ray Hushpuppi.

This was made by the EFCC Spokesman, Dele Oyewale in a statement, that Hushpuppy, is Nigeria’s most wanted hacker.

The statement read in part, “Nigeria’s most-wanted hacker, Ramoni Igbalode, alias Ray hushpuppy, recently arrested by the International Police and the FBI, has considerable cases of cyber crimes being investigated by the EFCC.

 “The commission is engaging with the FBI in tracing victims of his fraudulent transactions and other fraudsters having direct involvement with him. Local cyber criminals with money laundering networks with him are also being investigated.”

Huspuppi was arrested on June 10th 2020 in the UAE in connection to a ventilation scam of $35m
