Leaders of All Progressives Congress( APC) in the five states of the South East are currently meeting in Abuja
‘The Nigeria Daily’ gathered that the meeting which started at 7pm lasted for an hour and was hosted by former Senate President, Senator Ken Nnamani
Those in attendance were : Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu ; Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu; Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Nwabueze Ngige ; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and Former Governor of Imo State and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial district, Senator Owelle Rochas Okorocha.
The reasons for the meeting was undisclosed but an external source revealed that it was not unconnected with APC internal affairs. The source also added the meeting may be centred on how the South East can reorganize itself.
Imo State Governor , Senator Hope Uzodimma who is conspicuously absent is said to be present in the next meeting holding next weekend.
