Senate Chief Whip and former Governor of Abia State , Senator Orji Uzor Kalu on Thursday, led top political leaders of Abia state to the countryhome of the first Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress ( APC) South East, Dr Julius Nyerere to condole with him over the loss of his father.
Nyerere who was the 2015 gubernatorial candidate of the APC in Abia state lost his father in November 2019 and have put in plans to conduct the funeral on Friday.
Kalu in company of his retinue of aides, friends, associates and party stalwarts arrived Obingwa, the home of the APC chieftain at exactly 12: 30 PM and was welcomed by Nyerere, his family, friends and elders of Obingwa.
Barely 30 minutes after arrival, Imo State Former Governor and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial zone, Senator Rochas Okorocha also arrived Nyerere’s home to condole with him .
