‘If You Kill, You Will suffer’ – Nnamdi Kanu Reacts to #EndSARS Protest

The attack unleashed on protesters by police during the #EndSARS protest on Tuesday has been condemned by leader the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Nnamdi Kanu.

The protesters are campaigning against the Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS of the Nigeria police.

Kanu warned that it was an international crime to use live bullets against protesters.

The IPOB leader maintained that it is the duty of the police, Army and the Department of State Services, DSS, to disobey orders aimed at a suppress peaceful protest.

In a tweet, Kanu wrote: “Dear Nigerians: If your relative/friend is a security agent (Police, Army, DSS), tell him that it’s an international CRIME to use live bullets against #EndSARS protesters; that it’s his DUTY to humanity to DISOBEY all orders to suppress the protests. If you KILL, you will SUFFER!”

Nigerians have been protesting against the brutality of police officers in the country.

During the protest yesterday in Surulere area of Lagos State, a protester was killed after policemen drafted to the area allegedly fired live bullets.
