Babawuro Tofai Nanono, the younger brother of the Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono has been kidnapped.
The gunmen were said to have stormed the minister’s home in Tofai Village under Gabasawa Local Government Area in Kano around 1:00 am on Monday, November 23 and whisked the man to an unknown destination after firing warning shots.
The spokesperson for the Kano State Police Command, Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the incident and said efforts are being made to rescue the victim.
