President Muhammadu Buhari has met the Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom on Tuesday.
This is coming few days after gunmen tried to assassinate the governor.
Although the agenda of the meeting was not disclosed, it gathered that the visit might not be unconnected with the recent attack on the governor.
Recall that Mr Ortom had accused the Fulani herders of plotting to kill him during an attack on him while on a visit to his farm on Saturday.
