The President sends greetings to family members, friends and professional associates of the engineer and administrator, who played a significant role in design and realization of infrastructure in the country, particularly in the Ministry of Transportation where he supervised efforts to resuscitate the railway system.
As the Permanent Secretary that ensured smooth transition at the State House after the 2015 elections, President Buhari notes Emodi’s maturity, focus and skill in handling technical and sensitive government issues, demonstrating a high sense of loyalty and patriotism by placing the interest of the country above personal needs and gains.
