The Women Leader of OUK Movement, Hon. Ijeoma Okorie has hailed the choice of Hon. Ojisi Iro Ogbaja as the Chairman of OUK Movement Abia State Chapter.

This is even as she reaffirmed her commitment to the goals and objectives of OUK Movement

Ojisi Iro Ogbaja popularly known as Abacha was yesterday appointed the Chairman of OUK Movement Abia State.

The movement which is a pro Orji Uzor Kalu political movement has membership across the 36 states of the federation and in the diaspora.

While congratulating Abacha, Mrs Ijeoma Okorie who also spoke in the meeting at Camp Neya, noted that even though she is now a PDP member, her support for Senator Orji Uzor Kalu remains intact.

She said, “I left APC to PDP because of Chief Amobi Ogah who recently defected to party to contest the Isikwuato/Umunneochi house of representatives seat.

“My commitment to OUK Movement and her activities remains. I’m still part of this group. It is party blind. I only left APC because of Amobi Ogah. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu is still my Boss and benefactor and he has done so well as my Senator. He has performed excellently well as the Senator representing Abia North senatorial district.

“OUK Movement is politically blind. I only left APC but not OUK Movement. People should not misunderstand that. Please ignore all rumors stating otherwise. Any body claiming that I was absent at yesterday’s meeting at Camp NEYA is telling lies . I did not only attend the meeting , I was also giving an opportunity to speak during the meeting and the pictures are there as evidence.

“What Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has done for Abia North in the three years as senator is enough to make him a life time senator of Abia North . He has shown capacity and people are no longer blind to listen to propaganda. ,” she said.
