A singer identified as Denny B has called out controversial artiste, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable over alleged song theft.

He accused the Zazuu star of stealing his song titled Egbe (Sure Aza) and fine tuning it to sound differently on his recently released track, Aza Man.

According to him, the Ogun-born musician is aware that he has a song titled Sure Aza which is trending.

Denny who met Portable weeks ago claimed that the street-hop crooner backstabbed him because he went and lifted the song without his permission which is a far cry from their arrangement.

He said the initial plan after they met was for him to ask Portable to hop on the remix of Sure Aza, only for him to go and record his own version of the same track with new lyric and tweaked tunes.

The singer, whose song was played on Big Brother Naija Level Up season lamented over how the ‘Clear’ crooner has numerous hits, yet he stole the only big song he released.

It was reported earlier that Portable previewed Azaman, which he recorded in reaction to the rift between skit-maker, Carter Efe and Berri Tiga.

The duo have been clashing online over rights to the chart toppping hit song, Machala and there have been allegations thrown around.

On one hand, Berri claimed that he wrote and sang the song from beginning to end, yet Carter offered to split the returns 95percent/5percent.

While Efe said the singer lied and tried to use his management to take ownership of the single after seeing that it was a massive success.

Following the daily drama they’ve been embroiled in, Portable released a snippet of a song titled Aza Man.

He made reference to the purported 5 percent offer Carter Efe made to Berri Tiga and sang about the need to be wise.

Sharing the video, the Zazuu star wrote; ”Dem Go Give You 5% You Go Wise #Azaman Drops Soon”
