Reading Time: 2 minutes

A businessman, Mr Daniel Uche, had applauded the Chief Whip of the Senate, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, for doing tremendously well in his four years in office as a Senator representing Abia North District.

Mr Uche, who is in the hospitality business popularly known as Uche’s Garden, in Aba, Igbere and other places across Nigeria, pleaded with Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, to look into why other communities are having electricity, whereas, Igbere Communities are not having electricity, from the power holding.

He said “it can’t be covered, how Senator Orji Kalu, is representing Abia North, beyond Expectations. When ever I return home to maybe check on my business, I drive on some of the roads and also see other road network constructed within Abia North communities.

“It’s not the first time Orji Kalu, had been mandated by the people. In the past, as a young governor with less allocations and revenue, Orji Kalu, is still remembered in the capacities of what he was able to achieve in Abia State.

“We’re proud of Senator Orji Kalu, one thing he should also look into is the electricity situations of Igbere communities. We barely see electric light to operate our businesses, if you go to some other communities outside Igbere, they enjoy electric light from the power holding.

“I want to use this medium to plead on behalf of Igbere people, to Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, our Senator, to look into the light issues facing Igbere. We know he can do something about it. We can not thank Orji Kalu, enough for making us proud by delivering on his campaign promises to the people of Abia North. Our commitments to support good leaders would be pronounce in the coming 2023 elections.” He said.

It would be recalled that Senator Orji Kalu, had in four years touched the lives of those in Abia North, by making them feel the presence of governance in his locality. It was gathered that Orji Kalu, constructed roads, built and renovated schools, provided water where needed in Abia North. It was also reported that the Senate Chief Whip had attracted investors that will establish industries and also generate electricity, in those Abia North communities, hosting the investors.
