Massive Turn Out As Ndi Arochukwu Yearn For A Win-Win-Win, To Return Orji Kalu

Reading Time: 3 minutes

Generations will come and go but the works of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and his impact on humanity will last longer in generations to come.

looking from the religious aspect of the people of Arochukwu, it is the perfect time to read John 19:30, as Arochukwu people said “It is finished” to bad governance.

It was a three day full packed interactions with the people in the 20 wards visited by the 9th Senate Chief Whip, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu in Arochukwu. As observed in this edified interaction that came during his campaign tour round the wards in Arochukwu, it’s apparent that the people of Arochukwu, made their declarations. They have seen the difference between dilapidated schools and renovated schools, they can now tell the difference between bad roads and good roads that has changed the looks of their communities, and so on.

The effervescent of joy, to have Orji Kalu, in his ethic reach-out to his people in Abia North was unending as they waited patiently for his arrival. In some of the reactions that popped up during the campaign ‘festival of return’ of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, to the Senate, it was captured of great importance how prepared Arochukwu is, to pour out their votes to ensure the return of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, to enable him continue the work that stood him out from the crowd.

It had never been experienced of such massive turn out of the people of Arochukwu. Some of the communities, took over the expenses of hiring extra canopies and chairs that can accommodate them, as they welcome their Senator, Dr Orji Kalu, who made it possible for them to have good roads in their communities. Arochukwu elders made it an opportunity to generally say ‘Thank you for building our roads’, of which they will replicate by giving Orji Uzor Kalu, Bola Tinubu and Daniel Okeke, of the APC, their massive votes.

For the people of Arochukwu, there is nothing that can be offered in return to Orji Uzor Kalu, for remembering them other than giving him their votes, three times on the 25th of February. The flash back of how most of them use to park their cars far away in Ovukwu community and walk home due to bad roads, vanished within Orji Kalu’s first tenure as a Senator. In their words, “what they’ve seen Orji Kalu, do, can not be whitewashed by those scheming politicians that knows nothing about community development.”

The nature of the Senator representing Abia North District, was felt by the people of Nde-Inya Abam at the interior of Abia rubber in Arochukwu local government area of Abia State. If Orji Kalu had not gone to reach them, they would already be classified as non-existent. It is pronounced that the government has totally forgotten this people, who are still part of Arochukwu and Abia State. It should not hurt, to say, they have not seen the kind of population that trooped into their government forgotten ancestral village.

There was no roads as erosion may have given them quit notice or rather, cut them into isolation as it seem to in no distance time, set to wash them off their land. But hope is on the way, they believed the coming of Orji Uzor Kalu, to their community would make much difference. They are in high spirit and are most positive that their situations will change for good in their willingness to give the road distributor, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, their votes in the February 25th Presidential and Senatorial elections.

The community gave to Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, their farm produce of garri, plantains, goats, bush meats and lots more, signifying that Orji Kalu, is welcome and should hold them on a trust, to vote him in one accord to see that his re-election is accomplished.
