Managements of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s Camp Neya , Igbere has officially responded to a report of partnership with AY’s Corporate World Entertainment to provide the first ever industry studio where everything required for film and video production are available.
Recall that the frontline comedian and actor Ayodeji Richard Makun, whose stage name is AY last week, broke the news about engaging into a partnership with Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s Camp Neya in Igbere, Abia state.
In a statement signed by Managing Director of the Parent company of Camp Neya, Sun Haven Hotel and Resorts , Mr Ibrahim Zulu Kayode and made available to the press on Saturday, Camp Neya has accepted to sign an agreement with Corporate World Entertainment to have Nollywood center in the camp .
The decision according to Kayode is “born out of the decision of the management to include Nollywood in it’s architectural plans as it works towards converting the massive camp into an international resort and tourist center with 300 international Standard rooms”
He said “the entire Camp Neya with massive infrastructures including banquet hall, 5000 capacity conference hall, 18 holes Golf course, indoor and outdoor swimming pools , Basketball court , volleyball court among several others will be used for tourism , retreats for national and international corporate organizations, holidays , events for national and foreign government agencies”.
The statement noted that the Camp Neya believes that partnering with AY’s Corporate World Entertainment will help to boost the Nollywood industry .
“It will be the new Nigerian tourism destination with part of the Camp known for high quality movie production .” Kayode said.
